Commercial Recycling
Residential
This is service for the home owner that has a 95 gallon roll away can. You usually roll this can to the curb once a week to be dumped.
- Where should I place the can for pickup?

Your 95 gallon roll-out container that should be placed in the street with the wheels against the curb or within 2 feet of the blacktop, and the handle towards the house, before 7 a.m. on the scheduled collection day. Containers should be placed away from overhead obstacles such as tree branches and wires. Containers should also be placed 4 feet apart from other containers and 8 feet from mailboxes, poles, fences, trees, or parked vehicles for easy access.

- What items should not be placed in my can?
- please do not put dirt, rock, concrete or sod in the containers. It is too heavy, and could damage our equipment. Other prohibited items include flammable materials such as oil, gas, and paint or hot ashes and coals; hazardous and toxic waste, septic tank waste, unbagged animal waste or explosive and radioactive materials; automotive products including motor oil, tires, and batteries; metal and debris from construction, remodeling, or demolition projects.

- What should I do if my can is broken?
- Sometimes in extremely cold weather plastic cans can harden over night and crack when the truck grabs them. Just notify your city, and a new can will be delivered to you as soon as possible.

- What can I do if my can was not completely emptied on my pickup day?
- Sometimes frozen garbage can get stuck in the bottom of the can during winter, and grass clippings can get stuck in the hot summer. You can avoid both of these problems by putting your waste in bags. Call Ace to dump the rest of your can, and we will pickup as soon as possible.

- What if my can was not emptied?
- If you put out your recycling or garbage container following the can placement procedures, and it is missed, please call ACE Disposal at 801-363-9995. A customer response member will ask you your pickup day and record your address for the earliest possible pickup.

- How can I get a new or extra can?
- Please call your city to sign up for new service, recycling service, or an extra can. Your new can will be delivered as soon as possible.

Residential Bulk Pickup
This service is provided on a monthly or yearly pickup depending on what city you are located in. Our trucks pick up odd trash that is placed on the curb in bags, bundles, or boxes. For more information on residential bulk pickup, please visit our Bulky Waste Pickup Page.
Commercial
Service for business,
HOA, or Private communtities only.
This service is for businesses that have a “dumpster.” A dumpster is a 2,3,4,6, or 8 yd steel can for you waste debris or cardboard. We haul all our commercial waste in the Salt Lake Valley to a transfer station that sorts recyclables from all regular waste.
- How do I get service set up for my business?
- Just call ACE and a customer service representative will send a Sales Rep. out to figure container size, placement, and frequency.

- My scheduled garbage pickup was missed, what are the reasons?
- Customers are commonly missed because a car or immovable object is blocking their dumpster. Just call us to find out what the problem may be, we will get it resolved, and get your can dumped as soon as possible.

- My Can is always overfilled or we need more service, what can I do?
- Just call your Sales Representative, and if you don't know who your sales rep is call ACE and a customer response member will give you the info.

- Who do I contact for a question with my bill?

Just call Ace and a customer response member will transfer you to the accounts receivable dept. Make sure you have your account # and invoice ready.
Please be aware that we bill for the current month. This means we send you a bill for January on Jan. 1st. Your bill is not considered past due until the 1st of next month. For example you would have all month to pay a bill you received in January. This means you would have all month to pay your January bill. It would not be considered past due until Feb 1st. - top
- I currently have service with another disposal company but I am interested in changing to ACE?
- The first thing you need to do is check the contract you signed. Most garbage contracts are 3-5 years and difficult to cancel. You can also call us to take a look at your account and we will do what we can to get you a different level of service.

- Can I dump garbage in any dumpster?
- NO. Most dumpsters are paid for by private businesses. They are rented from us and any damage or illegal dumping is subject to a large fine.

Construction
This service is for a large construction/demolition/cleanup project involving a very large container called a “Roll off”. A roll off is a 15, 20, 30 or 40 yd container for large amounts of construction, or household debris. Anyone can rent this can.
- How can I rent a container for a home construction project?
- Residents or Businesses can call to order a container for remodeling, yard care, etc.

- Does Ace provide services for construction projects?
- We provide excellent rates for construction companies that keep us busy. And in return we will provide you with priority service. We know the importance of speed and placement on a construction site and we will do everything we can to keep your site clean and efficient.

- Does Ace provide compactors for cardboard trash?
- YES. If you are interested in one of our compactors for cardboard or trash, call our customer response team and we will set you up with our sales staff to start service.
